PROLOGUE

She could feel the hand try to grab her from behind. She instinctively broke free and made a run for it.

Her heels clicked loudly as she ran along the stretch of the tarred road. She panted heavily, struggling not to run out of breath.

Her legs failed her and she tripped and fell into the arms waiting to save her from her assailant.

Sweating profusely and still panting heavily, she woke up. It had been a dream, the same dream.

She turned on her bedside lamp as she tried to steady her breath.

It’s been one very long hot minute but I’d carry on like I was here just yesterday.

I was searching for a mail recently and stumbled on some files of fiction I wrote years ago and had published on my old blog.

Files I thought I had lost forever when my old blog crashed. Imagine my excitement, I can still feel the goosebumps as I type this.

I have struggled so much in the past few months to create content or complete any of my unfinished work. It’s been my longest period of dealing with a writers block.

Finding these files was the motivation I needed. I was reminded of how much of a badass writer and storyteller I am (please allow me to hype myself… lol)

Anyway, over the next few weeks I’d be sharing these stories with you.

This first one is titled ‘ENDANGERED IN HEELS’. It follows the story of Timehin, a young girl trying to get to the top in her career, maintain a love life and just generally live a wholesome life.

But of course, life won’t be life if life doesn’t happen right?

You know I love love and my stories won’t be mine if love isn’t involved.

The first episode/chapter will be published in the next couple of hours.

I hope you enjoy it. And to my OGs who have been with me since day 1, I hope you find it as fascinating as you did when I first published it.

Let’s meet in the comment section.

It’s all love and light from your favorite storyteller

Jay.
